TASOCS congratulates Management and Supervisory staff (The Lean Team) for the successful completion of Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing
Lean manufacturing is a management philosophy focusing on reduction of waste through over production, waiting time, process time, transportation, inventory, motion and scrap in any business.By eliminating waste, quality is improved and production time and costs are reduced.
TASOCS is committed to environmental sustainability, improvement and prevention of pollution through waste and the reduction in raw material usage for the manufacturing of new products.
The course containing numerous modules including
- Lead Team Culture Improvement,
- Lead 5S,
- Mistake Proofing
- Production Process
Plus many more, took 14 months to complete.
The results are clearly evident in our Service and Engineering Departments where the Lean principles have been fully implemented and shown to improve efficiency, processes and reduce waste.
TASOCS is now working to a plan wherein The Lean Team will analyse practices in all other departments with a mission to improving those areas and sustaining those improvements.
