Facilities 

Our facilities in Welshpool are built for serious work.

 

Our head office and primary workshop cover 1,900 sq m. This site supports our marine maintenance and repairs, earthmoving cooler work, and light fabrication.

​

We also operate an additional 800 sq m workshop that is dedicated to heavy fabrication and specialised welding.

​

In addition, we have a third 2,000 sq m machining and assembly facility.

Marine & Heat Exchanger Service Department

​Equipped with advanced tooling and equipment, our service department has evolved into a highly specialised diagnostics and repair operation.

 

Key equipment include: four cranes, including a 5 tonne, immersion cleaning tanks, testing tanks and mobile CIP rigs.​

Core Fabrication Department

​​Our Core Fabrication department features cutting-edge equipment and tools for marine and earthmoving heat exchanger manufacturing, including:

  • Notable equipment includes tube expansion three-axis arms, hydro expansion capabilities, and automated pneumatic torque sensing equipment.

  • Manufactures TASOCS Multi-Life Oil Cooler range​ for Caterpillar equipment, plus replacement tube bundles for most marine & earthmoving equipment.

Specialised Welding / Fabrication Department

This department handles a wide range of projects involving stainless steel, aluminum, titanium and more.

 

Our skilled welders are qualified to work with various exotic materials and typically fabricate larger heat exchangers. Equipped with high-capacity machinery, the welding department guarantees precision and quality.

 

Highlights include a 10-tonne crane, heat exchanger mobilisers, TIG and MIG/Flux core welding machines and orbital welders.​​

  • Full reverse-engineering and design capability

  • In-house dedicated machinists and engineers

  • 2 x in-house 3D CAD draftsmen

  • Advanced machining capability and equipment, featuring:

    • 2 x CNC machining centres​

    • 2 x lathes

    • radial arm drill

    • large selection of specialty equipment and instruments
