TASOCS is an established supplier for Australia’s defence capabilities. We’re proud to partner with the Australian Submarine Corporation (ASC) and remain the only company authorised to rebuild and service the Collins class submarine fleet Fresh Water / Sea Water heat exchangers.

​TASOCS is proud to be recognised as a critical supplier to ASC. Our expertise in repairing and maintaining the Collins Class submarine fleet has reinforced our role in supporting Australia’s naval capability. In 2002, we proposed design / product improvements to significantly extend the service life of main engine lube oil cooler and jacket water tube bundles in collaboration with Hedemora Diesel. Following approval in 2004, TASOCS manufactured new units for the entire fleet.

As registered repair agents for both small and large Ventilation Coolers used in the ANZAC fleet, TASOCS plays a vital role in ensuring system reliability and longevity. In January 2007, we recommended an upgrade to improve cooler service life, which was approved in December 2008. Since then, we have successfully rebuilt numerous ventilation coolers, further cementing our reputation as a trusted service provider.
In addition, TASOCS has manufactured a wide range of heat exchangers, including HVAC units for Australian Defence vessels, also supplied numerous specialty heat exchangers for foreign naval assets.
