Safety Policy

TASOCS Pty Ltd is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all of its employees, contractors and visitors by conforming to current legislation, regulations, codes of practice and adhering to the requirements of our accreditation to AS/NZS 4801:2001

The objectives of this policy are to:

  • Work on the basis that all injuries, incidents and industrial related diseases are preventable.
  • Provide employees with safety information, supervision and training appropriate to the hazards they are likely to encounter.
  • To achieve measurable and continuous improvement in safety and health performance for all employees.

The responsibility for implementing this policy rests with all Employees.

The Safety Manager is assigned the authority to act as the representative of the Directors and is responsible for initiating and driving all safety and health strategies
on behalf of the Directors.

Safety matters shall be dealt with in consultation with employees through the Safety Committee and by taking timely corrective action.  Safety targets and objectives will be set and maintained.

TASOCS shall provide the time and resources necessary to implement this policy and shall identify hazards, assess and control risks and develop the necessary plans and procedures to continually improve all aspects of workplace safety and health.

    Safety Accreditation

    TASOCS congratulates Management and Workshop staff on the successful completion for the Safety Management Systems certification to the standard of AS/NZS 4801:2001.
